3...2...1...

Haden is a parrot of everything we do now. Regardless of what we say we almost always here a high-pitched echo of it. He also has his own favorite phrases now as well.

Example:
I often count down "3...2...1...BLASTOFF!!" and throw him into the air. He loves it.

Tonight at dinner we hear "three...two...un...RAARAAAAAAH!" The funniest part is he proceeded to make the blastoff "thbththbthbthbthb!" that I always do as well.

I love it. He's hilarious. :-)

Birthday #2!

Haden had his second birthday party today! Everyone had a lot of fun! I will attempt to get some pictures and maybe even some video up. He's such a big boy!

First Sentence!

Haden said his first sentence yesterday!

"I want applesauce." Clear as day. Man, is this kid smart or what?! :-)

Horse Riding

Haden finally learned how to ride on my back like a horse! It's tremendous fun for all, lol.

Kid's gotta learn how to hang on better though, he keeps falling off. We're getting there though, and it is pretty funny to see him trying to balance on a moving person.

In other news, Haden is doing very well learning his shapes and words and is even starting to say phrases! We're very, very proud of him.

Parenthood rocks. Yes, even when they're screaming. :-)

Blame

Just before we left for worship and trunk-or-treat tonight, Danielle discovered that I had drunk the last Capri Sun after telling Haden that he could have juice. When he realized that there was no juice to drink, he was, of course, not happy. In the car Danielle then proceeded to tell him (jokingly) that it was my fault that there wasn't any juice because I drank it all, not thinking he would put the whole thing together.

I have never received such a hurt and disgusted look from Haden in my entire life. I felt awful.

But we stopped and got a big thing of apple juice which Danielle then let me give to Haden. I was forgiven, and all was well.

Gotta be more careful when blaming others for stuff now, the boy understands! lol :-)

Hot!!

The other day we were using the toaster oven, and without anyplace else to put it on the counter it ended up right near the edge. Naturally Haden got in trouble for trying to touch it. After reaching for it Danielle told him "Haden! Don't touch that it's hot!"

She found him a few minutes later blowing up at it like he blows on his food to cool it off. Ha!

Prankster

Haden pulled his first prank a few days ago, ha!

He took Danielle's giant water bottle and ran behind the couch with it, and sat back there giggling for a little bit. We didn't think much of it, just that maybe he thought he was being all sneaky hiding with her water.

Later that afternoon when she took a drink from it she got a mouth full of apple bits.

Gotta love little boys. :-)
